What is OABR Academy?
OABR Academy is overseen by the Omaha Area Board of REALTORS® Education Committee. Academy classes are 1-3 hours and cover a range of topics and current issues important to REALTORS® all built to keep OABR members equiped with the knowledge they need to succeed.
Members, non-members, and affiliate members are welcome to join.
All active licensees must complete 18 hours every two years to renew their license(s). Of that 18 hours, at least 12 hours must be approved continuing education (CE) with 6 hours in designated subject matter (R courses). The remaining 6 hours may be in Commission-approved training (CAT) or in additional approved CE activities.
Designations & Certifications
The National Association of REALTORS® and its affiliated institutes, societies, and councils provide a wide range of programs and services that assist members in increasing skills, proficiency, and knowledge. Designations and certifications acknowledging experience and expertise in various real estate sectors are awarded by NAR and each affiliated group upon completion of required courses.
Code of Ethics Training Course
The National Association of REALTORS® requires completion of ethics training by all members every three years. The next deadline is December 31, 2021. Meet your Code of Ethics requirement on April 9, 2021 via Zoom from 8:30 am – 12 pm. Register online at www.ims.oabr.com
