Knowledge is Power Series
Annual Chili Cook-Off
OABR is run by volunteers who give their time and expertise to serve on boards, committees, councils, and forums.
Each year OABR recognizes its members for their efforts at the annual OABR Inaugural.
These award recipients are nominated by fellow OABR members for the following awards: REALTOR®-of-the-Year, Outstanding Service to OABR, Distinguished Service to the Nebraska REALTORS® Association, and Affiliate-of-the-Year. View past award recipients.
The best way REALTORS® can protect their business is RPAC. The purpose of RPAC is to raise and spend money to elect candidates who understand and support the interests of the industry. RPAC is the only grassroots and issues mobilizing force that exists to protect and promote homeownership and private property rights.
The money to accomplish this comes from voluntary contributions made by members. These are not dues dollars; the money is given freely by REALTORS® in recognition of how important campaign fundraising is to the political process. 80 percent of all contributions now stay within the state.
At all level- local, state and national -RPAC supports pro-REALTOR® candidates running for public office. It doesn't matter if the candidate is a Democrat or a Republican. It matters if they support REALTOR® issues!
The GPRMLS is a network of more than 250 participating real estate offices in the OABR area. Information on available properties is quickly disseminated to more than 4,000 cooperating REALTORS® in the Omaha area.
