To join the Omaha Area Board of REALTORS®, begin the process by completing the Membership Application Form.
The OABR membership year is September 1 through August 31. Accounts are prorated monthly for REALTOR® members joining during the year. New REALTOR® members are assessed a one-time $150 application fee. Monthly MLS subscriber fees are not included.

Annual Dues: Annual dues must be paid by August 15. If unpaid a late payment fee of 10% will be assessed. On September 15, membership will be terminated unless all amounts due are paid, including any late payment fee.

The Omaha Area Board of REALTORS® serves its members as a resource for education, a wide range of committee activities, the Great Plains REALTORS® MLS, social events, products, and publications.

New Member Orientation
New OABR members applying for REALTOR® membership, or members reapplying who have been inactive with OABR for two years or more, must attend New Member Orientation.
The Board values and seeks a diverse membership. Minority Outreach Scholarship Program
As part of an ongoing commitment to affirmatively recruit individuals from all racial and ethnic groups to the real estate profession, the Omaha Area Board of REALTORS® offers minority scholarships. The scholarship program is administered by the OABR Diversity Task Force.

Licensing and Forms
The Nebraska Real Estate Commission concentrates on information for real estate salesperson, broker licensees, and license applicants with information on the applications and renewal process, continuing education, the license transfer process, errors and omissions, insurance, and various forms used by the Commission.
Personal Assistant and Office Administrators
Any person using the Paragon MLS system needs to have their own unique credentials assigned. This includes agents, brokers, managers, office administrators, and personal assistants. For security reasons, logins cannot be shared. For personal assistants please complete the Personal Assistant Application and Assistant Key Agreement, if applicable, and send it to the MLS office. For office administrators please complete the Office Administrator Application and send it to the MLS office. There are no MLS fees for administrative or personal assistant accounts.
Affiliate Members are professional friends of the Association that are generally involved in businesses related to the needs of the real estate industry. Affiliate members are not licensed as real estate brokers, agents or appraisers, but enjoy the benefits of increased opportunities for networking and exposure to the real estate community.
