Governmental Affairs Committee
Make your voice count on the issues that matter to real estate and our community. Members stay informed on local government actions and policies affecting private property rights and the real estate industry, while helping shape OABR’s recommendations for grassroots advocacy and REALTOR®-friendly candidates.
RPAC Fundraising Task Force
Turn REALTOR® voices into action! Tsk Force Members engage fellow members and eligible supporters by building awareness and raising investments for the REALTORS® Political Action Committee (RPAC). 80% of those investments stay in Nebraska to support the political campaigns of candidates who support you. It’s not about Presidential politics, the Democratic Party, or the Republican Party. It’s about the REALTOR® Party – the best interests of the real estate industry, private property rights, and homeownership.

Professional Development Committee
Help REALTORS® grow, succeed, and stay ahead in an ever-changing industry. This committee supports educational opportunities focused on legal and ethical practices, cooperation, fair housing, and REALTOR® safety-giving members the tools and knowledge they need to build successful careers and better serve their clients.
Diversity Scholarship Committee
Help shape a more diverse and inclusive future for real estate in the greater Omaha area. The committee directs the OABR Diversity Scholarship program designed to attract aspiring individuals from ethnic minority communites who are working toward a career in real estate. The committee solicits applications, interviews candidates, makes assessments, and awards scholarships to qualified individuals.

Social Events Committee
Bring OABR members together and help create experiences worth showing up for. The committee plans and promotes member events to help build professional connections across the association, encourage member involvement, and help create opportunities for REALTORS® and Affiliates to grow their networks and build lasting relationships.
YPN Advisory Committee
Be part of the next generation of REALTORS® and turn new members into future leaders. The Young Professionals Network (YPN) is comprised of young-at-heart members – by age or by career status. This network supports young members and encourages involvement at every level of the organization. The YPN Advisory Committee guides these efforts and creates the opportunities that build stronger, more connected young REALTORS® who become the leaders of tomorrow.

MLS Users Group
The MLS Users Group monitors and makes recommendations to the Great Plains REALTORS® Multiple Listing Service Board of Directors regarding the use and functionality of the Paragon MLS System.
